The creditworthiness model represents an assessment of likelihood and need for insolvency prevention with regard to any major problems and potential risks which might be influenced by factors such as low capital base, reported yearly losses, lack of securing, short financial history, insufficient liquidity, changes in sales, payment behaviour, etc. It is a tool enabling relative comparison of creditworthiness of businesses in the Slovak Republic. Unlike global creditworthiness assessments, it enables subtler assessment differentiation, contributing significantly to distinguishing the level of a relative credit risk among individual businesses under assessment. It has an exact and systemic methodology which takes into consideration any relevant factors affecting the creditworthiness of businesses and which is verified based on indexes over time for individual market segments.
